Starting the second stage of Erasmus+ project

CAPABILITY-TB: DEVELOPMENT OF A TRAINING PROGRAM FOR IMPROVING INCLUSION AND PARTICIPATION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITY THROUGH TIMEBANKING

The CAPABILITY-TB project is aimed at persons with disabilities, their families, professionals and other social agents with the aim of:

  • Motivate the use of Time Bank platforms.
  • Promote self-knowledge and discovery of capabilities.
  • Increase participation in community networks structured through Time Banks.
  • Promote mutual support for the promotion of exchange between different persons with different capabilities.
  • Promote easy and cost-effective access to goods and services.
  • Promote the participation of supports through effective cooperation with persons with disabilities in Time Banks.
  • Develop general and specific digital competencies related to the Time Bank Platforms.

Although the meeting was initially scheduled to take place in Austria at the headquarters of one of the  partners experts in Collaborative Economy and Time Banks (FORBA), due to the pandemic and restrictions in each of the countries, the second meeting was finally held online on 26th  and 27th April 2021. The meeting was organized by Amica (Spain) as project coordinator and the other partners, COPAVA (Spain), CECD Mira Sintra (Portugal), CSS Forli (Italy), IED and KSEDEO EDRA (Greece), and the aforementioned FORBA (Austria) participated.

This second meeting had the following objectives:

  1. Finalize the first result of the project: Co-created Methodological Guide (IO1), as well as the review and validation of the results of the Co-creation sessions held in each of the countries in which more than 120 people have participated in total.
  2. Discuss and organize the development of the second result of the project that will consist of the design of training activities with an experience approach (IO2) and the Design of training materials (IO3) aimed at achieving the objectives of the project.
  3. Reflect on the e-learning Platform Model to be developed over the coming months (IO4)
  4. Review other technical aspects of the project: Quality and Risk Indicators, Dissemination and Communication Plan, compliance with requirements established by the Erasmus+ Programme and the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE).

The meeting was very satisfying because despite the distance it has been possible to generate a good working environment with a high degree of motivation and involvement on the part of all the partners and all the objectives set for the meeting have been achieved, reaching important agreements to continue to advance in the development of CAPABILITY-TB.

The third meeting of members will be held in September 2021, as well as other technical meetings over the coming weeks.
