On March 26, 2018, the second co-creation session of the ERASMUS + IDP Living project took place in the Casa de la Cultura de Xàtiva, in which COPAVA participates, and whose main objective is to support people with intellectual functional diversity and their supports, equipping them with skills to improve their community life and achieve the most independent life they can have.
It was attended by people with functional diversity, family members and professionals from the occupational centers of La Costera from Xativa, José Antononio Bodoque from Ontinyent, AFADIMA from Manises and the patronage Francisco Esteve from Paterna.
During the meeting, these people were presented with the conclusions of the methodological guide that will guide the development of the training plan (materials, contents, structure of the training program, training sessions, etc.), in whose creation they have actively participated and where we have tried to take into account their points of view, their needs and expectations. The attendees validated the final result and showed their willingness and interest in future training courses.
After the co-creation sessions and the results achieved, we now have to meet with the rest of the members of this European Consortium on April 12 and 13 at the AMICA facilities in Torrelavega (Cantabria) to plan and take the following steps, that is, begin to develop the materials and experiential formative sessions.
